EMPLOYER MATCHING PROGRAMS

Double your contribution to the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps - RADM Charles W. Parks Battalion through Employer Matching Programs!

Many companies not only encourage their employees to give to and volunteer time to nonprofits in their communities, but also will match those efforts with dollars and other means of support. Often these funds go unrequested. Just the simple act of filling out a form to request employer matching funds each year will make a significant difference in securing the financial future of our Cadets.

Employee Matching Programs are donations an employer makes to match its employees’ charitable contributions. Employee matching gifts often are dollar-for-dollar, but some companies will give double or even triple the original donation. Some may also give matching gifts for employees’ volunteer efforts. Sometimes, our Sea Cadet battalion needs to register with your employer’s managed charitable provider through a web portal. We are happy to complete any required registration to qualify for your employer’s charitable matching program.

We are a registered State and Federal 501(c)(3) non-profit. Your donations and annual membership contributions are tax deductible. If even half of our Cadet Families requested employer matching funds each year for just your annual membership dues, we would be well on our way to securing the financial future for our units.

Note - Please check with your tax preparer as to how this applies to your own tax situation.

Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions or need help is getting our Non-Profit registered with your company.
